Sunday Brian, Nolan & I headed to the air force beach for a picnic. We picked Subway up on the way and hit the beach a little before 5 pm. We had such a nice, relaxing time walking on the beach, building sand castles (Brian and Nolan did that), and just taking it all in.
There were lots of jelly fish washed up on shore as we walked along so we had to be careful. And there are these little crabs that are white, like the color of the sand and they were adorable until one almost got Nolan's piggies (Brian will CLAIM I am exagerrating, but really, who are you going to believe?). Then I was a little cautious and we carried him on our walk along the beach.
So here are some pictures of our evening:
Nolan & Momma:
Brian and I each had some time with friends this weekend. He went golfing Saturday morning with some guys from work, one whom he went to college with. Saturday night Cheyna took me to a Passions party. It was the first one of it's kind that I had been to. It was definitely different from any other At Home sales parties I've been to, but we had fun. Afterwards we decided to stop for a cocktail and have much needed mom-away-from kiddo's time. Since we don't know much about the nightlife (not sure if there is much of one where we live), we ended up in an interesting place. We were kind of out of place, as Cheyna put it, but we didn't let it stop us from having fun.
Here's Brian on his way out the door to golf. Thanks to my dad for letting us bother you Friday and for giving Brian all the golf tips. I am sure it's not your fault Brian hit over half his shots into the sand...kidding!
I am a momma and a wife. I stay at home raising our three little guys.
Although I always saw myself as having lots of little girls in dresses and curls, I relish and feel super blessed to be the mommy to all boys.
No day is like the next and my ability to control situations is long gone. This blog is my life scrapbook!
Nolan is our favorite man-child. He's the hilarious teenager who loves to pull pranks, but gets the most pleasure out of pranking the same woman who birthed him.
Joseph is a creative, smart, huggable boy who is the unofficial middle kid. He loves telling his Momma she's beautiful on a daily basis.
Danny isn't really the youngest, but somehow we all think of him as the youngest. He's faced his share of medical trials, but refuses to let that get him down and charges forward with a smile on his face.
Brian is my husband of 17 years. He won me over by making me late night egg and cheese sandwiches. He still makes me swoon by making me late night snacks when we watch TV after the kids are in bed.
