Actually they were AT Cloud 9 Ranch over Labor Day weekend. Cloud 9 is where Brian's family goes every year. Dad McMenamy goes hunting for deer in the fall/winter time, sometimes with Nathan or Kurt and when Brian still lived in the area, he would go along, too. As the weather gets warmer, its a great vacation spot. They keep their RV camper there year round and take their ATV's to go 4 wheeling. Brian took me to Cloud 9 a handful of times before we moved away and it was always a blast. Anyway, Kim Roedl (previously Dame) emailed me that her and Steve were going there for Labor Day. Brian and I were green with envy!! But we're happy they got to go. If we get stationed in a reasonable distance to Cloud 9, we plan on taking a vacation there in the next few years. And we expect not only the McMenamy's to be there, but the Roedl's too! :) Here are some pictures of Kim and Steve having a blast at Cloud 9 (lucky ducks)!! Oh, and of course, their newest addition Rusty...what a CUTIE!
The pictures are great. Glad they had fun. I went looking for them at Foggy #8 but no one was home. Probably at Dawt that day. I'm trying to remember if I saw that puppy dog. One friendly puppy said Hi to Maddy with such gusto that it knocked her on her butt on Foggy Crossing but it was a black 4 mo old lab. Luckily no BooBoos!
I am a momma and a wife. I stay at home raising our three little guys.
Although I always saw myself as having lots of little girls in dresses and curls, I relish and feel super blessed to be the mommy to all boys.
No day is like the next and my ability to control situations is long gone. This blog is my life scrapbook!
Nolan is our favorite man-child. He's the hilarious teenager who loves to pull pranks, but gets the most pleasure out of pranking the same woman who birthed him.
Joseph is a creative, smart, huggable boy who is the unofficial middle kid. He loves telling his Momma she's beautiful on a daily basis.
Danny isn't really the youngest, but somehow we all think of him as the youngest. He's faced his share of medical trials, but refuses to let that get him down and charges forward with a smile on his face.
Brian is my husband of 17 years. He won me over by making me late night egg and cheese sandwiches. He still makes me swoon by making me late night snacks when we watch TV after the kids are in bed.
